We say “Hoi”Liechtenstein may be on the small side, but it sure has a lot to see. Our mountains, for example. Mittagsspitz, Alvier, Ochsenkopf... even we Liechtensteiners don’t know all their names off the top of our head. But we do know how beautiful they are. And as our guest, you’ll get to see this too. Often by simply looking out of the window. But not only is our hotel in the ideal location for taking in the Alpine panorama, it is also just a few minutes from the centre of Vaduz or Triesen. This makes it the perfect location, whether you are visiting for pleasure or business. We are confident that you will feel at home with us. Hotel Schatzmann combines professional gastronomy with a personal touch. The founders come from a Liechtenstein hotelier family and the establishment is now run by the second generation. We focus on maintaining a personal relationship with our guests, which is why we prefer to greet them with “Hoi” rather than “Grüezi”.

Hotel Schatzmann was built by Inge and Klaus Schatzmann in 1984. The name “Landgasthof” (Country Inn) was rather modest, considering that Klaus Schatzmann’s cuisine was recognised by Gault & Millau only five years later.
A new building and winter garden were added in 1995. The restaurant reviewers from the Michelin Guide must have enjoyed their visit, as only a year later, Klaus Schatzmann received his first Michelin star. And Klaus Schatzmann never lost it, right through to his retirement in 2015 – 20 years of gourmet food from another star. Delicious!
Their daughter, Anja Schatzmann, has been running the hotel since the founders retired. She was not only born into the hospitality business, but also studied it at the renowned hotel management school.
Heiko Krüger has been successfully running the restaurant in the Hotel Schatzmann for several years under the name "Vivid".
The hotel and the restaurant Vivid were recently included in the "Liechtenstein Weg" and named Bike Hotel

Since 2018 ,the Hotel Schatzmann is cooking again on a gourmet level! Heiko Krüger leads the "Vivid" there and already cooked in 2019 13 points in the Gault & Millau.

Our restaurant is open from Monday to Friday, lunch and dinner. If you want to secure a nice table in the winter garden, it is definitely recommended to make a reservation.

Free travel with the Guest Mobility Card
Whether you want to go skiing, hiking, visit a museum or attend a conference, the Guest Mobility Card allows you to get around on the LIEmobil buses throughout your stay in Liechtenstein. Give your own vehicle a break and explore the country in a relaxed manner by bus - whether as a family outing during your vacation or on a business trip.
When you book with us, you will receive the Guest Mobility Card, which gives you free travel on the entire Liechtenstein bus network from the day of arrival to the day of departure.
This means that if you arrive by train in Sargans, Buchs or Feldkirch, you can already travel to your desired destination free of charge on the LIEmobil buses.
The booking confirmation in electronic or physical form can be used as a bus ticket on all LIEmobil buses. They are valid as a ticket for all listed individuals aged 6 and over and must be carried on every bus journey.

Liechtenstein is worth a visit in both winter and summer: its natural world is guaranteed to impress you. Whether you head down to the Rhine or high up in the mountains, where the mountain villages of Steg and Malbun look forward to your visit. There are plenty of hiking trails with breathtaking views of the alpine scenery. And in the winter, over 20 kilometres of slopes await skiers and snowboarders alike. You can reach the particularly family-friendly Malbun winter sports resort in about 20 minutes from our hotel.
